In Australien wird gepokert, in London wird gepokert, in Rozvadov wird gepokert und nebenbei stehen auf 888-Poker, PokerStars und Party Poker drei riesengroße Online-Turnier-Serien an. Sprich: Man kann sich den Pokerturnieren dieser Tage überhaupt nicht entziehen.
Gar nicht entziehen wollte sich sicherlich Chris Moorman der britische Online-Turnier-Papst und Markenbotschafter von 888-Poker ist schon berufsbedingt bei der Super-XL-Series auf 888-Poker durchgehend aktiv. Nachdem er es am Eröffnungswochenende gleich an den Finaltisch eines Turniers schaffte, legte er nun eine Schippe drauf und holte seinen ersten Sieg.
Beim 55 Dollar teuren Rebuy-Turnier, welches 667 Spieler (plus 1088 Rebuys und Add-Ons) anzog wurden insgesamt 87.750 Dollar ausgespielt und in dieser Nacht um 4:30 Uhr setzte sich Chris Moorman im Finale gegen YourNemesis durch und kassierte 16.450 Dollar. Das ist vom Betrag her sicherlich nicht der größte Triumph des Briten, der Online und Live in seiner Karriere bereits mehr als 25 Millionen Dollar gewonnen hat, aber es ist sein erster Sieg bei der Super-XL auf 888.
DACH-Erfolge auf 888-Poker
Gleichzeitig gab es gestern mehrere deutschsprachige Erfolge: Beim $55-Turbo-Americas (das Turnier startete um 3:00 Uhr nachts) wurde der Österreicher GiveMeMyCut Zweiter für (eher übersichtliche) 1400 Dollar, icecube781 wurde Zweiter beim kleinen fünf Dollar teuren Rebuy-Turnier für 2300 Dollar, Slowplay0815 wurde ebenfalls Zweiter bei der $12-Thursday-Challenge für 4200 Dollar und einen Sieg gab es auch – weltmaschine aus Deutschland gewann das $44-Mini-Quarterback und kassierte 7800 Dollar.
10 Millionen am Sonntag garantiert
An diesem Wochenende stehen nicht nur auf 888-Poker, sondern auch auf PokerStars die großen Main-Events von Super-XL und TCOOP auf dem Programm. Parallel wird auch auf Party Poker das Powerfest seinen ersten großen Höhepunkt erleben. Insgesamt werden allein am Sonntag über 10 Millionen Dollar bei den drei Anbietern garantiert.
Das Main-Event auf 888 beginnt um 20:00 Uhr, kostet 1050 Dollar und garantiert 1,5 Millionen. Auf PokerStars werden für das gleiche Buyin eine Million Dollar mehr garantiert.
