Der zweite Tag der PokerStars EPT Barcelona war ein guter Tag für die deutschen Spieler. Gleich fünf von ihnen konnten sich in den Top-10 des Counts platzieren. Chipleader ist der Tscheche Vojtech Ruzicka. Ihm folgen Nima Ahrary und Martin Finger aus Deutschland.

Ein paar Nachzügler (21) meldeten sich noch kurz vor Start des gestrigen Tages an und so liegt die offizielle Spielerzahl des Main-Events der EPT Barcelona bei 1.496. Damit liegen über 7,2 Millionen Euro im Preispool und für den Sieger sind 1,26 Millionen ausgelobt.
Wer ist raus?
An Tag 2 wurde kräftig gesiebt – fast 70 Prozent aller Spieler, die den Tag begannen, schieden vor dem Eintüten der Chips aus. Darunter waren viele große Namen wie etwa: Anton Wigg, Martin Staszko, Dan Smith, Shaun Deeb, John Juanda, Liv Boeree, Ivan Demidov, Daniel Negreanu, Jake Cody, Johnny Lodden, Jonathan Duhamel und Luca Pagano.
Auch viele deutschsprachige Spieler erwischte es gestern. Unter anderem nicht mehr dabei sind Heinz Kamutzki, Benny Spindler, Jamila von Perger, Tobias Reinkemeier, Igor Kurganov, Dominik Nitsche, Fabian Quoss, Pius Heinz, Marvin Rettenmaier und Benny Spindler.
Wer ist gut dabei?
Angeführt wird das Feld vom tschechischen Spieler Vojtech Ruzicka mit 621.000 Chips. Ihm folgen gleich zwei deutsche Spieler, Nima Ahrary und Martin Finger. Ahrary dürfte vielen eher unbekannt sein – er cashte bislang zweimal bei einer EPT (Platz 23 in Wien 2010 und Platz 49 in Berlin 2011). Auf den Plätzen 5 und 6 liegen ebenfalls zwei Deutsche: Berthold Winz und Tobias Rohe. Insgesamt haben es 41 Spieler aus hiesigen Gefilden in den dritten Tag geschafft. Zusammen halten diese rund 16 Prozent aller Chips.
Wie geht es weiter?
Heute geht es ab 12.00 Uhr (live pokerstars.tv zu verfolgen) weiter und zunächst steht die Bubble an. 239 Plätze werden bezahlt und 292 Spieler sind noch im Rennen.
Dann wird so langsam in Richtung Final-Table hinabgespielt. Dieser wird am Mittwoch ausgetragen.
